blue/black plates

This combination is one of my favorites. I wish there wasn’t so much glare on the top plate -the black is really much richer. Unfortunately the black is a lowfire glaze (and so is the water blue for that matter). The combination of the two tends to lead to problems -I’m going to start using a cone 10 black and see how that works with the blue. If I was to do these over agian, I would clean up the edge a little where the blue bleeds out onto the black rim. My brother and I eat off the these plates.
