The ox blood did some crazy things on this mug.  The amount of reduction is what determines whether the glaze stays white, turns red, or becomes burgandy.  All three stages are evedent on this cup.  The blue comes from where the black interior spilled over on the outside (the black glaze has a significant amount of cobalt).
